Rotary Club of Coimbatore


The Rotary Club of Coimbatore is one of the pioneers in India of the rotary movement, devoted to the ideal of Fellowship through service. It was inaugrated on May 23rd, 1943 by H.E. Sir Authour Hope, the then Governor of Madras. The Club was formally admitted into the Rotary International by charter on 21st June 1945.

Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision, and for more than 75 years, Rotary Club of Coimbatore members have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
